#DSP QUATTRO PLUGINS PROBLEM WINDOWS#which basically resizes and lays out all of the open windows in a grid filling the screen. ![]() which is to allow us to open many audiofiles in different windows and then, as peak called it, TILE the window view. One bit of functionality i'd love to see is right out of Peak. #DSP QUATTRO PLUGINS PROBLEM UPDATE#maybe i missed something in the explanation and will load up the update and check those functionalities myself.įantastic to hear you're working on a brand new version, i'm sure it's quite a bit of work! I am confused though about the other features you listed for exporting individual tracks as DSPQ already has that (and i use it all the time). The 4.2.3 update looks like it has some great things, especially the CD burning without image file. it's definitely the strongest contender out there. #DSP QUATTRO PLUGINS PROBLEM MAC#i think many of us are quite eager to see DSPQ really take the lead in mac editors. Thank you very much for your time taken to post an update here for us. Maybe I do not reply immediately, but I ALWAYS read them very carefully, I always consider all suggestions very seriously, believe me.Īnd, sincerely, very often I would like to have more time to talk with you. If you have suggestions, comments or requirements, please never hesitate to write to me. It is scheduled for the first quarter of the next year. Unfortunately it will need of an Intel based mac to run, but it will be really in sync with future versions of MacOS X. It is an application fully 64 bits, fully based on cocoa graphic framework and supporting all the features of the new versions of MacOS X, including a new audio file engine opened to other audio formats natively. ![]() Since several months, I'm also working to a new totally revisited version of DSP-Quattro, written mostly from the bottom-up. BUT don't worry! about all the rest, I have a long "ToDO" list here. faster procedure for burning AudioCD without the need of keeping image files. extended DDP support without CD-Texts or with empty CD-Texts fields. new export function of a single CDTrack as independent AIFF, WAVE, SDII or. new export function of all CDTracks as separate AIFF, WAVE, SDII or. new 'safe' project and AudioCD loading procedure in case of emergency: keeping the ALT key pressed while loading a Project or AudioCD Layout, DSP-Quattro will skip to load any plug-in or effx. the application bundle is now compatible with Gatekeeper of MacOS X 10.7.5 or newer, no more Security warning during the installation. full compatibility with MacOS X Maverick. In this version I have added only some minor (but I hope very useful) things: I released a version 4.2.3 some minutes ago. I hope all is well with him.YES I'm here. Stefano mentioned a beta a few months ago that may be available prior to a proper update, but last I checked there was nothing. I'm sure that this was the problem of the un-expected offset of CDTrack Markers. If in AUTO, crossfades are linked, in MAN the Fade-Out of one AudioRegion and the Fade-In of the following one are independent (for this, check the mode column on the AudioRegions table). The same mechanism of AUTO-MANUAL modes applies to the cross-fades between AudioRegions. To return in AUTO mode, just double-click on the Head of the CDTrack Start marker, it will automatically move again at the beginning of the underlying audio region.Ĭan you please check if this happened also in your case? Just reload the AudioCD Layout and look for the 'AUTO' or 'MAN' setting on the Mode column on the CDTrack Table. If you drag a CDTrack start marker, it changes immediately from AUTO to MANUAL, and after this it keeps the offset where you left the drag from the beginning of the Audio Region. #DSP QUATTRO PLUGINS PROBLEM FREE#If not, they are free to move where you wish. If in AUTO, they are always locked to the audio region start which 'own' that CDTrack start marker. ![]() #DSP QUATTRO PLUGINS PROBLEM MANUAL#Please consider that the CDTrack start markers can work in AUTO or MANUAL mode. I apologize for missing to reply to you before now. This problem only happens at particular levels of zoom in to the audio file. it doesn't 'stick' to the start of the second track. When adjusting the gap between 2 tracks and moving a file to the left the green track start bar doesn't move correctly with the track start (that it was linked to previously). I've found what seems to be an error when laying up CD audio. ![]()
